Welcome
A family house in the middle of the resort
Raul & Iulia is run by a family, and that shows in the one place where it counts: for "Staff", the 98 guests who rated us gave 9.9 out of 10.
We are inside Băile Felix, not on its edge. The Apollo thermal pool is about 400 metres away, the railway station 900, and shops and two restaurants are a few minutes on foot. You can come without a car — and once you are here, you will not need one.
The rooms have their own kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a television and a fridge. Downstairs there is a lounge with a pool table, books and board games, and in the garden a wooden gazebo with a barbecue, big enough to seat the whole group at one table.

This is not us talking. These are the scores given by people who slept here and wrote after they left.
It was perfect. We have been going to Băile Felix for many years, to different guesthouses, and I can say this was the first time we were genuinely made welcome. Coffee from the house, as much as you like.
We had a wonderful holiday with the family and felt excellent. The villa is close to the thermal pool. Every morning we enjoyed delicious coffee and croissants.
I liked that everything was right for a family with children! We got a cot in the room, there is a play area for the children and it is a quiet place! We are coming back.
I was hugely impressed — you really could not find better than this. The guesthouse is absolutely central, about five minutes on foot to all the main attractions, and there are plenty of shops right next door, so you have everything at hand.
We had a very lovely experience at this guesthouse. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the atmosphere quiet and welcoming, and the staff very kind and attentive to guests' needs.
I was pleasantly impressed by the owners of the guesthouse, who do everything they can to make their guests' stay a pleasant one. The value for money is perfectly balanced.
Excellent accommodation, remarkable people. We will definitely come back!
The hosts were very hospitable, there is nothing to complain about.
Mornings at the thermal pools, lunch in the gazebo, evenings at the pool table. Without taking the car out of the yard.
What is waiting for you here
This is not a resort and does not try to be. It is a house where the rooms have kitchens, the garden has a gazebo and a barbecue, and the thermal water is five minutes away on foot.

Rooms with their own kitchen
The difference from a hotel room is the kitchen. The family room and the superior double have a hob, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher — breakfast happens when you wake up, not when a dining room opens.
Every room has a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a television, a coffee maker and soundproofed windows. For the little ones: a free cot up to the age of three and a high chair, on request.

The garden, the gazebo and the barbecue
The garden belongs to the house and it gets used. The wooden gazebo has a long table, benches and a television, enough for the whole group at once, and the barbecue is free to use — the shops are a few minutes on foot.
The bar next to the gazebo has cold drinks and beer, and the paved yard has benches and a hedge for shade on summer afternoons.

The basement lounge, for rainy evenings
Downstairs there is a whole lounge: a pool table, sofas, a big television, books and board games. It is not a corridor room — it is where the whole group ends up when it rains outside or when the children run out of patience.
On the ground floor there is also the shared dining room, with long tables and a kitchen at your disposal, if you want to eat together without crowding into a bedroom.

The resort, five minutes on foot
The Apollo pool and the President Hotel are both around 400 metres away. Băile Felix is the largest thermal resort in Romania and is open all year — the water comes out of the ground at over 40 degrees, so the outdoor pools run through the winter too.
The Nymphaea Aquapark and Oradea's Art Nouveau centre are a quarter of an hour away by car, and the railway station is ten minutes on foot if you arrive by train.

The surroundings
What to do while you are here
We are in the middle of the resort, not on its edge. The thermal pools are five minutes on foot, Oradea a quarter of an hour by car, and the railway station ten minutes away — you can come without a car.
